Cervical nerve radiculopathy (Brachialgia):

Pain and numbness of the upper limbs related to pressure on one or more cervical nerve roots. Symptoms are usually affecting one arm; however, bilateral symptoms are not uncommon. It can be manifested by one or a combination of pain, numbness, tingling sensation, loss of sensation, muscle spasm or weakness of part or combination of shoulder, arm, hand, or fingers.

Investigation is usually with MRI scan and confirmation with neurophysiology studies.

management is usually conservative with physiotherapy and painkillers. spinal injections is another minimally invasive approach. However, surgical intervention in form of anterior cervical discectomy or laminecttomy/foramenotomy may be indicated in certain cases which failed to response other management options.
